The MDVIP Physical

MDVIP patients will be given The MDVIP Physical on a yearly basis. Since MDVIP affiliated physicians limit their practice to no more than 600 patients, there will now be time to perform a full, thorough, comprehensive physical examination that is typically not given in most traditional primary care practices due to time constraints.

The MDVIP Physical has been specifically designed with prevention in mind and is the basis for your Personalized Wellness Plans and ongoing preventive care.

It includes, but is not limited to:

• an extensive risk factor assessment that analyzes family history, patient history and lifestyle analysis
• screenings related to mental status
• screenings related to exercise, nutrition and sleep
• screenings related to vision, hearing and pulmonary function testing
• comprehensive laboratory testing
• EKG

Some of the benefits of working with MDVIP:

- Extensive yearly examination

- Patients can be seen the same or the next day

- Minimal waiting time in the waiting room

- Office visits are for 1/2 hour

- Your physician is available 24/7

- If you are hospitalized, your physician will follow you at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center

Long Beach Internal Medical Group has three physicians who are affiliated with MDVIP; Drs. Worcester, Bitter and Hryniewicki and they are open to new patients for this program.

Dr. Kaneshige is available for a traditional Internal Medicine practice.

MDVIP's Annual Fee is $1,800.

Quarterly Dues: The Board of Directors has asked that I enforce the following guidelines in terms of payment of Quarterly Dues:

- $20.00 late fee WILL BE ENFORCED going forward. If your Dues payment is received after the due date, you will be charged the $20.00 late fee.

- The Bylaws do state that in order for a Member to attend our weekly meetings that Member must be a "Member in Good Standing" which includes being up to date with their Dues payments.

- Once your payment of Dues is 30 days past due, we will annouce at a meeting one week prior that names of those more than 30 days past due will be printed in the Riptide the following week and the Member will receive a phone call asking the Member not to attend weekly meetings until their dues are paid in full.
